Flipside returns with Shut Up, Play! on 12 to 14 June 09

Teacups, water, boxes, nutty antics, blown bubbles, glow-in-the-dark drumsticks, grunts, squeals, sound loops and audience noises come together in the delightfully offbeat audio-visual spectacle that is Shut Up, Play! Part musical, part play, part kaleidoscope of sound, theatre and colour, Shut Up, Play! will get audiences bopping along to its musical medley featuring an evocative indie tune and a guaranteed club hit.  The Original Tempo is six Japanese guys who make music from the unlikeliest objects and play their “instruments” accompanied by exciting visual elements in zany performances. The Original Tempo has wowed audiences in Japan, Taiwan and Korea.
